Rijnpark is one of the Netherlands’ seventeen NOVEX priority development areas. Over the coming years, in two phases, the area will deliver 7,000 homes and 5,000 jobs. PEJA is working with other local developers, landowners, and the Municipality of Arnhem to realise this. The plan is predominantly high-rise at densities uncommon for Arnhem. By 2040, the Arnhem-East rail zone (Spoorzone Arnhem-Oost) will become a new residential district with several lively neighbourhoods, with the Spoorpark acting as a green connector.
